Doors Are Always Opening (Brand Revamp, Integrated Campaign)

This project required turning one of America’s most controversial brands at that time into one people would consider respecting again. We did this by transforming Uber into a symbol of living life to the fullest —a portal to opportunity anywhere, anytime.

Films were inspired by crafting 140 character short stories about people in various stages of life. These narratives were then turned into short stories, strung together to create the long-form launch commercial.


Bumpers

While :15s were used as a space to stories where Uber connects people to opportunities, we used six-second bumpers to focus on singular micro-moments, turning an ordinary car door into a portal.

First Sketch!

These low-fidelity sketches are what triggered the concept idea, becoming building blocks to the story as well as it’s look and feel for a national re-brand. Plus, some six million photos I took to avoid comping!
