Islamic Textiles

When it comes to Islamic Textiles, the designs are almost entirely geometric in nature as depicting animals or human forms is discouraged within the parameters of religious teachings. As a result, the Middle East and many parts of South Asia carry a rich history of textiles. Stories embedded in techniques and textures, patterns and colours. This series was shaped by this thought: Textiles on Steroids. All images created in Midjourney via text prompts, followed by blending results further.
