Erase the Hate (Social Good, Music & Entertainment)

Concept Development, Art Direction & Design
In partnership with NBCUniversal, this campaign was made to celebrate people fighting hate in America in unique ways. From moms making doll-hijabs to teach inclusivity to photographers changing perception of black men in hoodies via their art, we worked with real-life activists to showcase a range of activism that goes beyond signs and protests.

The initiative was launched with an accelerator program providing grants, coaching, and mentorship to the featured activists (and more) from local communities across the United States.

Brand Design

The design was aimed at creating a language that would cut through the clutter in a jarring way. We did that by putting a spin on the backspace key and turning the icon into a powerful statement: Erasing hate may feel like a monumental task, but we can make it as simple as hitting the delete key. We just need to do it in our own unique ways.
