Sloth Stream (Live Stream, Social Media)

This project was orchestrated to turn the last day of taxes from a stressful experience into a relaxing occasion. On April 15, we partnered with H&R Block to live stream the most relaxed animal on the planet—a sloth.

#SlothStream featured Paco the Sloth relaxing to the sound of ambient soundtrack for a 12-hour stream. Viewers were encouraged to take a break and interact throughout the day via twitter polls, where they got to decide what they’d like to watch Paco eat or play.

This casestudy gives us a snapshot of how the day rolled, and how Paco won the heart of Twitterverse.

Whacky Dioramas

At a time when calendar events were all the rave, our team at Deutsch LA developed an absurdly funny formula to deliver on quick turnaround social posts: Block Dioramas. A series of shorts positioning H&R Block as a friend close enough to trust with your taxes, and sometimes your feelings.
