Pioneers was launched when CKE approached us for a brand makeover. Our task was to pull them out of a female focused narrative to showcase their fast food legacy. We did that by establishing CKE as pioneers of the greatest tasting burgers in America.

Brand Design

Updated design to make the brand feel modern yet edgy via a new palette, a bold typeface, and mouth watering photography by The Voorhes.

Case Study

CKE also created the fictional character of Carl’s Senior to launch in-sync with Pioneers. It was brought to life by a different team that I was not a part. The case study below is included solely to show how the two halves came together for launch.
